A North Carolina native, Caroline Mercurio Spitzer has lived in Asheville since 2008. Her endeavors include a BA from Appalachian State University, an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts,  a decade as Founding Editor of Hunger Mountain, and employment as a writing professor at Warren Wilson College. After years of practice working in the booming Asheville vacation rental industry, her skills in staging and photographing rental homes are relevant and sharp.
